Message from A Safe Haven President

President and co-founder of A Safe Haven, Neli Vazquez Rowland, recently commented stated about this year’s Black-Tie event, “We are very excited to honor Rotary International and the incoming President, John F. Germ, with the Inaugural Humanitarian Business Association and Humanitarian Leadership Awards, for their collective and individual selfless contributions in making the world a better place for so many people. I could not think of a more worthwhile association or leader to receive this award than Rotary International and John F. Germ for the commitment to serving humanity.

As a Rotary One member, I am proud to be part of an Association which has demonstrated through their actions, locally and around the world, how a group of like-minded people can achieve great positive impact in communities and support causes that really matter and affect everyday lives. I am incredibly honored that both Rotary International and Mr. Germ have agreed to accept this recognition. This is our small way of saying thank you to those on the front lines who support our efforts to help the homelessness get back on their feet. Thank you to Rotary International, John F. Germ and fellow Rotarians from across the world. We are humbled and look forward to honoring Rotary International and John F. Germ on Saturday, November 5, 2016.”

Since January 2014, Michael V. Favia has served A Safe Haven as a member of the board of directors. He shares enthusiasm for the unique model A Safe Haven uses to help the homeless, as a private sector success story worth following.
